Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas was recently spotted wearing these Star Trek sunglasses.
What are Star Trek Sunglasses, you ask? These are sunglasses that are inspired by the VISOR (Visual Instrument and Sensory Organ Replacement) that Geordi La Forge (played by LeVar Burton) wears in Star Trek. Geordi is blind by the VISOR allows him to see.
Hopefully these sunglasses are more comfortable than the VISOR that Levar Burton had to wear in his role. Levar said the VISOR was “pretty much a living hell… 85 to 90 per cent of my vision is taken away when the VISOR goes on.” Levar also once mentioned the daily headaches he got from the device which actually used screws and flanges to stay in place on his head.
I’m sure Fergie’s Star Trek Sunglasses are more comfortable than the VISOR. I still need to find out exactly what type of sunglasses they are. Anyone know for sure?
In case you haven’t seen enough of Paris Hilton in videos or trashy magazines or on TV, you’ll be super excited to hear that she’s launching her own line of sunglasses. She announced this on her MySpace blog:
“I’m about to go to the Eye Wear Convention. I’m launching my new sunglass line. I’m so excited! I love wearing sunglasses and now I have my very own line! Loves it! So, I have to run, but hope everyones doing wonderfully and love you all.”
Paris Hilton is partnering with Gripping Eyewear, Inc. on this new sunglasses line. I confess that I’m not a huge Paris fan, but most everything she does gets lots of attention and this should be no different. I’m interested in seeing how this sunglasses line works out. Are you?
Looking forward to watching some NCAA Tournament Elite 8 Hoops action this afternoon. Looking for my Tar Heels to put a W on Oklahoma, but I know it’s going to be a tough game. I think this is the year for my Heels, but just like any team, we’ll need a little luck to win it all.
Who do you think will win the NCAA Tournament this year?
I was watching a video from StartupLucky.com featuring Gary Vaynerchuck. Gary V is basically the world’s expert on how doing what your passionate about (and working your ass off) will lead to success. He’s doing awesome in the wine industry with his show, Wine Library TV, and has inspired thousands of other people (including me) to bring passion, energy and focus to what they love. My goal is to become the Gary V of stunna shades and sunglasses.
In the video Gary V mentions that he charges at least $15k now for a keynote speech, which is awesome considering the value he brings. Since I’m not quite on Gary V’s level yet (ok I’m not anywhere NEAR his level!), I’d do a keynote for $5 (as long as you pay travel expenses and throw in a bunch of sunglasses for the audience), LOL.
What’s up yall. Check out the video below of me rocking some sunglasses that remind me of baseball and something an outfielder might wear. Even though I can’t stand watching baseball, I love going to games, and hopefully will be doing some of that soon. What are your feelings about baseball? Love it? Hate it? Don’t care? Leave a comment and let me know what you think.
*Yes, I gave a shoutout to gogglesandglasses.com in the video. I’m not getting paid for that, and though they did send me some free sunglasses, they didn’t ask me to do it. It was just something I wanted to do because I think they have great quality products at affordable prices.
Happy St. Patty’s Day!! Hope you’re having a great day. Since people are crazy obsessed with green today, here are some decent green stunna shades and sunglasses that you can rock in the near future. They’ll still be cool, even when wearing 100% green isn’t.
Just wanted to let you know that I’ve been on Twitter for awhile now. If you’re on Twitter, please please follow me so we can connect! I’ll occasionally post pictures, links to blog posts, special deals and more on Twitter. Plus I just use it to talk about whatever you want, so hit me up!
If Twitter is not your thing, that’s ok. Just wanted to let you know I’m there if you are. If you don’t know what Twitter is yet, check out the video below. Kinda dorky, but it does a good job explaining it.
Today I went for a ride after lunch in my friend’s Lotus Elise. And I realized something–I want a Lotus! Check out the video to see me riding. Stunna shades ON!
Help me get a Lotus, please! Hahaha, what can I say? I want a Lotus!! You should too. They are freaking sweeet cars! If you want your logo on one to build your brand, I suggest you visit sponsoranexotic.com and talk to my buddy, Noah.
